Scoot started new flights

Singapoe. Scoot, the low-cost carrier of Singapore Airlines, has introduced three new routes to Phu Quoc in Vietnam, Padang in Indonesia, and Shantou in China. Flights to Phu Quoc and Padang are scheduled to begin on December 20, 2024, and January 6, 2025, respectively, operated by the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. Flights to Shantou will start on January 16, 2025, using the Airbus A320 family aircraft.

With these additions, Scoot will offer Malaysians enhanced connectivity to unique destinations across Asia, including 31 weekly flights to three cities in Vietnam, 84 weekly flights to 11 cities in Indonesia, and 89 weekly flights to 17 locations in China by January 2025.

Singapore. Tickets for Phu Quoc, Padang, and Shantou are now available on Scoot’s website, mobile app, and other sales channels. One-way Economy class fares start at RM299 for Phu Quoc, RM269 for Padang, and RM409 for Shantou, inclusive of taxes.

Scoot is also optimizing its network to align capacity with demand. Starting November 24, 2024, flights to Jakarta will increase to 19 per week. From December 20, 2024, services to Koh Samui will expand from 14 to 21 flights weekly, while Davao will shift to daily flights starting December 22, 2024. Additionally, flights to Vientiane will increase from four to five weekly from February 9, 2025, while services to Nanchang will end after February 14, 2025.
