Kolkata. mjunction services limited yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), by which rivexa, mjunction’s cross-border B2B e-marketplace, will collaborate with EEPC for the benefit of Indian exporters. Business buyers can source engineering goods, along with custom made fashion & home textiles, directly from Indian manufacturers, using the platform of rivexa. It was launched in October last year.

EEPC India is India’s premier trade and investment promotion organization in India; 60% of its membership base consists of MSMEs.

The MoU was signed at an event in Kolkata by Chief Financial Officer Mr Aninda Chatterjee of mjunction and EEPC India Executive Director Mr Suranjan Gupta.

Speaking about the MoU, mjunction MD Mr Vinaya Varma said, “I look forward to this MoU and taking advantage of EEPC’s reach, as we pursue our commitment to promoting the ‘Made in India’ label on the global stage. I believe that rivexa and EEPC together can make a significant difference to both the volume and quality of Indian exports.”

EEPC India Executive Director Mr Suranjan Gupta said, “The MoU is a culmination of our mutual interest towards reaching our national goal of $300 billion of Engineering Exports by 2030. This new partnership will help us in curating major projects that will enable our members, particularly, the MSME members, to bridge alliances and networks with their global counterparts. We, therefore, look towards a glorious future in achieving greater heights of glory.”

As part of the MoU, rivexa and EEPC will partner with each other in promoting increased exports activity for the benefits of Indian Exporters and Indian Business Communities, particularly the small and medium-sized enterprises. Both will identify potential products and markets, and introduce to each other opportunities for cooperation and partners for trade promotion through various activities such as organising and participating in Economic summits, Trade exhibitions, Buyer-Seller Meets, Business development meets, Symposiums, Seminars and Workshops.

The transfer and exchange of best practices and expertise between rivexa and EEPC will enable Indian exporters to tap into newer markets, scale their business in global geographies and foster better quality and compliance improvement of Indian goods at the global stage.

With rivexa, foreign buyers gain access to a fully equipped digital platform, enabling them to source their products from verified Indian manufacturers.
