The sixth edition of Social Impact Awards SABERA 2023 announces its winners

New Delhi. The sixth edition of the Social and Business Enterprise Responsible Awards, SABERA 2023, themed 'AtmaNirbhar Bharat' successfully concluded with recognition of outstanding contributions to social responsibility and sustainable development. The SABERA Awards 2023 showcased initiatives and projects that embody the principles of 'AtmaNirbhar Bharat' that echoed the nation's spirit of self-sufficiency, ingenuity, and sustainable growth. The event brought together thought leaders, industry experts, and change-makers from various sectors to discuss and recognize innovative solutions driving sustainable development in the country. Organized by the Simply Suparnaa © Media Network, the event began with an inspiring keynote address by Joint Commissioner of Police of Eastern Range, DelhiChhaya Sharma (Head of special investigation of the Nirbhaya Gang rape case),emphasizing on inclusive developmentespecially with respect to women for fostering self-sufficiency and innovation for a resilient and sustainable future.

Ms. Renu Sud Karnad, Chair of the Board of Directors at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Vice Chair- Governing Council at Indraprastha Cancer Society and Research Centre, chaired the Jury for the third time. Other distinguished jury members included Dr. MukundRajan (Chairperson of ECube Investment Advisors), Mr. Dinesh Chhabra (former CEO, Usha International), Mr. Richard Rekhy (Board Member - KPMG Dubai and Former Chief Executive Officer -KPMG India), Mr. Sanjay Prakash (Managing Director and CEO, SBI Foundation), Ms. Sujatha UG (Head-Global Partnerships & Multilaterals, Invest India Senior Advisor, WAIPA) and Ms. Aastha Grover (Head, Startup India, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Vice President, Invest India)."SABERA as a platform is creating a tri partite bridge between the Non Profits who can identify the pressing challenges in the country, the  policy influencer who can facilitate the know how in solving these challenges, and the for profit sector that can provide the resources to execute the solutions to these challenges. There is a sense of pride in every Indian with the success of Chandrayan 3 which is actually a continued effort of the nation. Hence, importance of acknowledging the  scientific based research and development happening in the country is what we as a platform wanted to focus on this year", said Ms. SuparnaaChadda, Founder Curator, SABERA SABERA 2023 also saw representatives from the AGNIi Mission Research, under the guidance of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, share valuable insights into the role of emerging technology and innovation in advancing the nation's goals of self-reliance. Their contributions shed light on the potential of startups, labs, and the innovation ecosystem in addressing the priorities of Government stakeholders.
