Samsung Wins Appliance of the Year at BEE’s National Energy Conservation Award

Gurugram. Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, has won the ‘Appliance of the Year’ award for its Top Load EcoBubble™ Washing Machine at the National Energy Conservation Awards hosted by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). Presented by Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Honorable President of India, this award recognises Samsung’s efforts to eliminate energy waste i.e. using less energy to perform the task efficiently. In 1991, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) declared 14th December as the National Energy Conservation Day to give recognition through awards to companies across sectors that have taken special efforts to reduce energy consumption.

The 5-star energy rated EcoBubble Washing Machine by Samsung washes clothes powerfully and more efficiently. The Ecobubble technology along with Digital Inverter Technology gets clothes really clean using 73% less energy and 19% less water. While the BubbleStorm technology helps detergent penetrate fabric 2.5x faster and gives 20% better fabric care.
