Reflecting on her entry into Bollywood and sharing screen space with Pankaj Tripathi, Jaya expressed unwavering enthusiasm. "Working with Tony Da (Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury) was on my wishlist for a long time," she shared. "Who would hesitate, especially when you know you'd work with Pankaj Tripathi? He is a very giving actor, and as a human, he is very simple and sweet. His efforts to communicate in Bengali, bringing home-cooked food, and cooking on the sets created a warm, comfortable set.
Describing her on-set camaraderie with Pankaj, Jaya reminisced, "There's a scene I share with Pankaj Ji, which is very dreamy and tender. Even while shooting, I knew it would come out beautifully. Pankaj Ji made our scenes extremely natural; our bond felt very organic. Jaya emphasized the importance of understanding co-actors for seamless performances. "For me, it's crucial to know my co-actors, their improvisations, and their way of acting. Working with Pankaj Tripathi was an incredible experience," she noted. "He is an acting institution, yet he's also a responsible actor, ensuring his co-stars are comfortable. Once on set, everything became effortless. Hailing from Bangladesh, Jaya Ahsan has carved her niche in over 110 Bengali films, TV shows, and web series, amassing accolades and appreciation for her versatile performances.
