Nantucket. US President Joe Biden said he believes the "idea" of providing military aid to Israel with certain conditions is right. Biden also expressed hope that the ceasefire with Gaza will last more than four days. The president told reporters in Nantucket, Massachusetts, that he was encouraged by the release of some hostages and expected more to happen. He said, 'We expect more hostages to be released tomorrow, more the next day and more hostages the day after that.' According to Qatar, the hostages released included 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and A man from the Philippines is involved. In return, Israel released 39 Palestinians from jail. Biden said that giving conditional military aid to Israel was a "good idea, but I don't think that if I had done that from the beginning, we would have ever gotten to where we are today." However, he did not give any information about what these conditions would be.
