Cease fire extended for two days in Gaza

Earlier, the ceasefire agreement between Israel and extremist organization Hamas was ending on Monday. The whole world wishes that the ceasefire remains in force in Gaza and the release of hostages goes smoothly. Israel and Hamas have also given positive indications regarding this in the past. But on the fourth day, there was confusion regarding the release of 11 hostages and 33 prisoners till three hours after the scheduled release time of 4 o'clock. But later, with the persuasion of the mediators, the deadlock in the release of hostages and prisoners was resolved.

Duration may increase further
The whole world wants that the ceasefire should remain in force in Gaza and the release of hostages should be smooth. Israel and Hamas have also given positive indications regarding this in the past. The European Union (EU), Arab countries and North African countries have gathered in Barcelona, ??Spain to discuss the Israel-Hamas war. In this meeting hosted by the EU, foreign ministers of a total of 42 countries and their representatives have expressed their views on extending the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Hamas will release 10 hostages every day
Hamas will have to release ten hostages per day and Israel will have to release 30 Palestinian prisoners per day in exchange for them. Besides, the supply of relief material and diesel-petrol-gas will remain smooth in Gaza Strip. In the ceasefire that started on Friday, Hamas has released a total of 58 hostages, including 39 Palestinians, in three days, in return Israel has released 117 Palestinian prisoners. Whereas according to the ceasefire agreement, Hamas has to release a total of 50 hostages in four days while Israel has to release 150 prisoners.

Netanyahu said mothers and children should be released together
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's office has said it will review the names of the list of 11 hostages given by Hamas. Israel wants the mother and children to be released together as per the agreement, but this rule was not being followed in the fourth batch. Whereas Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan has said that the organization is trying to increase the number of prisoners being released.

Amid increased tension in the region due to Israel-Hamas war, Iran has deployed its destroyer warship equipped with cruise missiles in the Caspian Sea. This warship is capable of detecting and targeting more than 100 targets simultaneously.
